This is a hand-made, perfectly-balanced solid titanium top. The top is cut with curves on the top and bottom and I can add a knurled grip to the upper post to help you grab it and spin it faster. The top is sanded to give it a smooth brushed surface finish, but I can also polish it if you want it to be shinier.
Solid titanium is a durable metal without a coating. If it get dropped or scratched, the scratches will appear the same silver color as the mateiral is. If you want to brighten it up over time, you can use any metal polish (like brasso) on a cloth to restore the lustre. If you opt for the colored finish, it will show scratches through the colors if you drop it.
In terms of spinning time, the brass and stainless are both dense metals so they will have more weight, thus more momentum, so they will spin longer than lighter tops. Currently Brass and SS are the densest metals I work with. Titanium tops would be 2/3 the mass of the Brass & SS tops, and Aluminum would be only 1/3 the mass of this one. In the future I may create Tungsten tops which would be even heavier and spin longer, but they would be more expensive.
