DATA & PRIVACY:
Your information is kept private. WC Lathe Werks LLC will never sell, or freely give your information to anyone. I never see your personal financial information like a credit card or paypal password. These pieces of info are stored by Paypal and secured in their encrypted server. I cannot access your financial data even if I tried. Any payments sent to me must be authorized by the customer, I cannot charge your card myself.
PRODUCTION TIMING:
I work alone. Sometimes I have more orders than I can fulfill in a short time period so I ask each customer for their time schedule / deadline so I can supply parts based on needs as best I can.
CANCELED ORDERS:
If you cancel an order before I begin production, there is a 3%-4% cancel fee (for USA customers), or a 5%-6% cancel fee (for International customers), which reflects the transaction fees that I must pay to receive your payment initially. If I haven't begun cutting metal for it, I can give back every penny I receive, but not the transaction fee.
Once I begin making an item, since they are hand-made, I typically cannot cancel the order.
Because everything is hand-made to your order, often with many options, some standard items can be returned, but there will be a large fee (around 30-50% fee to take back an item). Because they're all hand-made and I hold no inventory. Everything is made-to-order to the customer's spec. If I made any error in the order, I will correct it at no cost to the customer.
SHIPPING:
Most shipments will be through US Postal Service. Some larger items like engine covers will ship using UPS Ground. I cover shipments against loss or damage to the point they reach you.
WARRANTY:
I offer no expressed warranty on the finish of the products because they can be accidentally dropped or scratched up over time. However, the product will last for decades of use for the intented purpose. The products will fit on the car it was designed for so long as the car is still original (OEM mating parts) and not damaged. If there is a fitment issue, you agree to give me a chance to change the item to make it fit. If this change is caused by a customer modification, extra money may be required to make this change. Custom items may not be able to be returned since they are made for you specifically. Sometimes a damaged thread on a shifter will prevent the knob from screw onto a shifter. In this case a threading die is needed to fix the thread on the shifter. The threads inside the shift knobs will be 100% when the customer receives them, I test-fit each one before shipping it.
